Hello and welcome to the Lamar Elementary webpage!  I am Mrs. Cindie Garza, the school counselor.   Throughout the school year, I teach guidance classroom lessons to all of the students at Lamar Elementary.  My main focus is on character education, as well as, Safe and Drug Free activities.  I am also available for individual and group counseling sessions.  If you have any questions about the following areas, please feel free to contact me at the school (361-592-5246): attendance, special program referrals, homeless, at-risk, gifted and talented, migrant, agency referrals and PTO.
